The purpose of the Underwater Rugby Photo Contest is to promote the sport by boosting picture creation. The contest is crowd funded, which means that the total prize will depend on how much money is collected during the contest. It's a non-profit initiative, created and managed by players who are passionate about underwater rugby, and we would like to invite everybody who believes in our mission to contribute a little.
Entry period

The contest begins right after the first announcement and it ends on November 30th 2016.
What to enter

We expect images that were taken in 2016, in the pool, under the water and has at least 6-megapixel resolution. It can be during practice, competition or in any setup which reflects the reality of the sport. For each picture you send us you have to have the rights to grant us a license.

We don't accept collages or drastically post edited pictures. We keep the rights to reject any picture if we feel it's not appropriate in this context.
How to enter

Send your pictures to uwsphotos@gmail.com in JPG format. Pictures should not contain any watermark, and it must be sent by the photographer. Captioning is welcomed but not required.
Your rights

If you submit a photograph to enter the contest, you grant Underwater Sport Pictures a royalty-free, nonexclusive right during and 1 year after the contest to:

Display the photograph on Underwater Sport Pictures social media (e.g Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) or website
Allow third-parties to share the photograph on the following social media platforms.
Provide your photograph to UWR-related use in news stories, newsletters, reports, slide shows, displays, web pages, videos, membership premiums, and the like.

Underwater Sport Pictures will endeavor to credit all photographs with the desired caption (e.g. name, website).
Judge

The contests will be judged on originality, quality, overall impact, artistic merit and the value to the sport. The final ranking will be established by the group of people who contributed to the fund (See How to contribute section).

Social media likes, shares might be used for ranking, but those numbers won't be used exclusively.
Prizes

Prizes will depend on the amount we will managed to raise with crowdfunding.
less than $200 ==> 1. prize gets 100%
$200 - $500 ==> 1. prize 75%, 2. prize 25%
more than $500 ==> 1. prize 60%, 2. prize 30%, 3. prize 10%

All winners are responsible for paying any income taxes and any and all other costs and expenses not listed above.
How to contribute

Contribution to the total prize should be sent to uwsphotos@gmail.com PayPal account as a friend. Every $5 contribution will convert into 1 vote during the judging process. also ich habe die Black Edition. Saugnapf ist nicht dabei. Ich habe mir ein Saugstativ extra gekauft. Morgen teste ich es erneut, vielleicht mal mit der 1920x1440er Auflösung. Oder in FullHD mit 60 fps. mal sehen ;)

also gestern war der erste Testeinsatz. Ich habe mal einen Clip online gestellt unter

Problem war: Der Blickwinkel ist schon ordentlich, die Filmquali ist auch nice. Da ich aber keinen Screen für die Kamera habe (NOCH nicht ;) wusste ich nicht, was ich genau filme. Die WLAN Verbindung klappte unter Wasser nicht. Daher sieht man bei dem Clip am Anfang nur recht wenig..beziehungsweise recht viel eigentlich, aber die Körbe halt nicht. =) Zur besseren Vorstellung: Das Becken ist ca. 17 meter breit und vielleicht 6 Meter breit. Dann geht eine Schräge hoch..und nach dieser Schräge habe ich dann das Stativ in der Mitte aufgestellt. Ich werde jetzt nochmal mit den Frameraten und Auflösungen testen. Vielleicht wäre es auch eine Idee, die Cam an der Wand festzusaugen und dann leicht nach unten zu neigen..wobei es dann das Spiel stören könnte.

Bin recht zufrieden damit. Ohne Divehousing ist die Qualität nicht so prall.

Da das Divehousing bei der Hero 3 dabei ist spricht nichts gegen die Kamera. Wenn du sie hast, zeig mal was.
