    I disagree regarding physical contact:

If you avoid physical contact, it is very hard to deliver efficient passes and you will stall in front of a determined defender. This applies both close to the goal and out in open water.

As candidates for additional suggestions I would like to add:

    – Make sure to move the game forward.

    – Try to pass forward, preferable through a defending player.

    – When you want a pass, position yourself forward.

Tried a pair in the pool last week. They did feel very soft, but it is possible that I am biased from swimming fiber for 12 years. I used to swim the Plana Plus family, and I think they were stiffer than this. If anyone sends me a pair of 46-47 plana plus I will try to arrange a blind-test :).

The foot pocket is still nice, and I would suggest you get your hands on a pair to try for yourself. I suspect that it might still be one of the nicer non-fiber fins on the market.

    +1 fur Guru.

Was ich finde wichtig ist das alle teams sind auf den gleiche level. Es ist nur das erste Jahr lustig massiv zu gewinnen.

I think the title of the booklet brings some confusion. What is described are the basics of what is used by most, if not all, top teams from 1995 and forward. It all starts from a defensive pattern of

    1 on top

    1 in front

and the rest is to make sure that it is impossible to get to our goal with anything less than this present to defend it. Everything else is how to make sure that this does not fail and we can still attack with as many players as possible.

It should be seen as a contrast to a game where the player in front was last man and had to take the first impact alone.

I like playing with fiber fins with an open foot. This gives a nice and direct feeling for the fins.

Most of the speed comes from the player himself but changing fins is „free“ speed so why not take it? More speed is always useful if you have the air to use it.

The other advantage of a powerful blade is that it gives a good grip on the water when trying to score or when in 1:1 situations. If you doubt this, then try to score or rip a ball when you are barefoot….

The hardness of the blades is not perfectly constant across different production runs so you need some luck when recombining a pair. Good luck.

If shirts make the sport more or less attractive might be tied to what is hidden under the shirt. It is also interesting to see that more and more male players are no longer using the classic cut swimsuit but going to designs with longer legs.

In the water I like feeling the water against my skin. Due to injuries I have sometimes had to play with elbow protectors but I do not like the feeling.

The Hultsfred is somewhat uncertain at the moment:

Some info: There appears to may be some booking issues with hultsfred

so I would advise to wait a while with booking any tickets since we

might change pool. If you absolutely can’t wait to book flight tickets

then my suggestion is that you book them to Malmö and then we will

arrange so you can ride with us to the camp from there. Likely people

attending will drive from Stockholm and gothenburg but noone from the

arranging club, so we can’t guarante transport from there, only from

Malmö. If you’re planning to fly to Stockholm or Gothenburg we can

arrange for contact info for people we know are going from there, then

    you’re on your own.

It is definitely in the middle of nowhere.

    Definitely looks like 360km.

If you fly it is shorter from Skavsta airport.

    Google Translate

    Highlights from reading the translation:

    Wo: Hultsfred Schwimmbad (Google maps).

But there might be changes to this.

@MarcoBR: I think very few of the players who has been to these camps read this site, but many players keep coming back.

@Anya7: Still unclear. However, like you see on the site the organizers have recruited a set of trainers who all have played at least 10 years at a top level.

Hm. Email says something about „Vote your favourite at…“ and here are 2 suggestions at this page and the man with the deciding vote picks a 3rd game. I have no problem with Winne deciding himself what to show, it is his data produced with his team. I just wonder why ask for votes.

    I still vote
